In 95 Ken stepped up to Class 2, finishing second in the Cowes Torquay Classic and the European Championship the following year. In 97 he won the Class 2 World Championship in Argentina and in his first season in Class 1 lifted the Diesel Trophy. His strength in depth as a racer stems from his experience in building and designing powerboats. He runs, Lecco based Nicolini Offshore with his brother Luca. He has been involved in racing for over ten years with over 60 race wins in all classes. His achievements include winning the 1990 Class 3, 6 litre Italian Championship and the 1991 Class 3, 6 litre European Championship. The pinnacle of his career was winning the Class 2 World Championship in Argentina. His interests include hunting, skiing and motocross - if he offers you a ride, dont take it!!
